Damsel | Hyuna & Hades
@mpxhyuna continued from here:
“Who said I needed rescuing?” But she was barely covered in the torn dress she had to hold up to keep it in place, and there were bruises on both her arms from where she’d been gripped too hard.
The man who’d caused the bruises was still inside, probably. Hyuna shivered in the cold air of the night. When her client had gotten too violent, she’d hit him over the head with the next best thing she could find (a wine bottle) and made a run for it. She then more or less bumped into this stranger and asked if he’d mind joining her for a walk. Her plan was to minimize the distance she’d have to walk by herself to get to her apartment.
“So are you gonna join me? I really don’t have all night.“
Hades takes in the appearance of the demigoddess opposite of him and feels angry as he does. How there are people with these types of manners even on Mount Phoenix baffles him. But then he thinks of some of the other gods and it doesn’t become that much of a surprise anymore. Only even more despicable. Barely managing to repress the anger from flashing over his features, he allows his eyes to wander over their surroundings to check if someone’s coming after the demigoddess. Sadly no one shows, meaning he can’t get into a well-deserved fight with whoever it was that has mangled up her dress as it is.
Wasting no time in pulling off his coat, he moves to put it around the demigoddess’ shoulders. Wrapping it tightly around her, he waits for her to take it over from him so it will stay around her, before he lets go and then motions for her to lead the way. “I’ll join you. But you better know I’m not leaving your side until you safely enter an actual apartment or house.”
A soft word whispered under his breath summons a Hell-hound right behind them to watch his back so he can keep his attention on his current charge without having to worry about being suddenly ambushed. He doesn’t make the creature visible to her eyes, however, considering the fact that he knows close to nothing about her and it might scare her more than the thought of whoever had done this to her.
“My name’s Hades, by the way,” he offers after a moment. “Just in case you think I might end up doing something you’d want to report to the police. That’s the name you should use.” A light grin follows those words, Hades trying to imagine the police coming over to him to accuse him of doing anything whatsoever to this girl.
