Reader wasn’t popular like Harley but they’re good friends with Stella (love her ❤️). And they’re known to be nicknamed, “Angel.” Since they’re aware that Sawyer is one of those popular guys who doesn’t get along with anyone, it’s obvious that the two wouldn’t interact a lot. They’ve seen in each other and had a one or two conversations with school projects and what not, but overall they’re not really friends, at least that’s what the reader thinks.

Yes, he's still alive! I believe he is alive even in the canon because The Prototype probably keeps him around for a few reasons. -The Prototype aka Ollie doesn't wanna be lonely again, he's an orphan, loneliness is something he knows too well, and he knows that if Preston and the orphans leave then he'll be alone again. So he kept the orphans down in the factory and turned Preston into a toy so that neither Preston or the orphans can leave him.

-The Prototype wanted to give Preston "a gift" to show his twisted form of gratitude. Preston played a big part in the Hour of Joy, he was the one who pressed the button and let the experiments out. And I'm sure he's the only conspirator who didn't die in the Hour of Joy. Plus as The Prototype said himself, Preston was "nice" to him, cause Preston felt bad for the experiments and wanted to help them. So that is another reason why'd he keep Preston alive. To make sure his good friend never dies.

-Since Preston is probably The Prototype's favorite subordinate, I can see CatNap and Lily Lovebraids not liking Preston because he's The Prototype's favorite (CatNap and Lily be doing anything to appease The Prototype meanwhile Preston's just existing). Plus since he was a biologist, he'd probably get attacked by the other toys like how Thomas Clarke did. So I can see The Prototype hiding him away from the other toys

-Before I learned that Preston was an amalgamation of a bunch of toys, I thought he was a regular Cat-Bee so I made up a design and everything for a Cat-Bee Preston bigger body. -According to Spencer Singer, who designed a lot of behind the scenes for Mob, he mentions how Preston was supposed to be a regular Cat-Bee, saying "Originally, Preston was just going to be some regular Cat-Bee toy. But a biologist like him deserves special treatment, wouldn't you think?" So I just decided to roll with the idea of a regular Cat-Bee Preston lol
