Smiling at the reply, she quickly changes into something more appropriate for public view, settling for an oversized-buttoned shirt and short pants with a pair of heeled sneakers. Grabbing her bag on her way out, she locks the door and walks out of the building. A soft sight escaped her lips as she looks out at the bright sky. Today seems like a nice day for a walk, since the cafe is just a few blocks away from her apartment building.

Plugging in her earphones, she scrambles through the songs in her phone and ends up pressing the shuffle button, walking along to whatever song was played. She was delighted to recognize her favorite song starts to play.

Putting her computer to standby, she looks at the empty room beyond the glass. It feels like a few minutes ago people were cramping in it, while in fact, it has been three hours since they left. Another work is done, well, her part is done. Somehow she feels a bit envy, seeing those kids wandering around in groups, but hey, she can’t really complain. She loves her job.

Glancing at her watch, she sighs, disappointed to find it was barely 3 in the afternoon. She was hoping it’s already night and she can do…stuff she usually do at night. Nothing explicit, of course. She was more of an absent-minded woman than someone who does naughty things. Most of the time.

Picking up her phone, she scrolled through the social media and news site, freezing when she caught one of the headlines. Finding Sohee in her contacts, she dials the number.

First attempt was unsuccessful. So does the second and the third. Biting her lip, she decided to leave a message for her instead, not even sure if the younger would read it.
