Space Invader | Alli & James
Alli was no longer in doubt, he was definitely avoiding her. Her texts, her calls, he even walked out of his own apartment just to get away from her. This was like the time after RHH all over again, only worse because she knew he was right down the hall. She couldn’t for the life of her understand why he was so reluctant to be her friend, why he kept pulling away from her the way he did. They’d gotten along great for a while, but just as she started to feel like she was actually his friend again, he stopped talking to her. She had never in her life experienced anything like it. When she spotted him heading outside with Aslan, she decided to do something about it.
“Hey James? Aslan?” She called after them, running to catch up. James was going to talk to her at least a little bit, she was determined to make that happen. If he never wanted to talk to her again, that was his decision to make, but she wanted some answers before she could allow that. “What’s going on? Why are you avoiding me like this again?” She eyed him, trying to judge his reaction. He wasn’t one to talk very much, especially not about his feelings, so she figured it was easier to watch than to listen.
