It was a March day in 2012 when the first version of our iOS app was released on iTunes. We're thrilled to approach our first birthday and want to thank all our users, merchants and team for helping us make the first year a success!

When Ozmott started one year ago we began working with large-scale merchants and franchises to make our app accessible to users in many different cities. While our team is still working hard to bring you exclusive offers for some of your favorite well-known stores, we're excited to announce the launch of our newest program: Ozmott Local!

What does this mean for the Ozmott app? Well, we've added two Community Managers to the Ozmott family who will focus on new shops, services and events in both Traverse City and Grand Rapids. They will be the "face" of their local Ozmott community, meeting with new merchants and planning events!

We will feature a number of offers within a focused area in your hometown, giving you the full Ozmott shopping experience! Not only do the shoppers benefit from being able to find offers on their own terms, but merchants will have the opportunity to take control of this powerful marketing channel leveraged by a close-knit community!

Now that we're hitting the ground running, be sure to invite your friends to earn extra Pips on each redemption. The Perks are in the Pips! There will also be fun incentives for you as some of our very first app users- so stay tuned for future events and user perks.

We'll expand to other cities once we get off the ground, and we can't wait to meet our users when we begin to host community events!
