This is the stuff I got at the con!! (and the last act screening) the last two images were freebies but the other things were stuff I bought. The furry sticker was given to me by the furry in my previous post, they were so nice!! I also got a acrylic Miku standee but I'll post that later ^_^

The Gangle badge and kandi star were given to me at the cinema because I was cosplaying her. Everyone there was so nice too❤️‍🩹

While Melbourne’s city is a labyrinth to me I had a good time at the Melbourne Oz Comic-Con.

I got $340 worth of RWBY merch on the first day

Got offered to Work for two different booths (Bethesda and L33T Loot) in the future. Though I think it’s volunteer work but hey still awesome.

Got to look like a High Elf

Made 3 friends at the convention, I bonded really well with one of them that convinced people that we had been friends for years when we only just met that day.

Got a photo with Corin Nemec (plays Jonas Quinn in Stargate SG 1 and Christian Campbell in Supernatural)

Went to the Leigh Whannell panel (director of the thriller/Horror films Saw)

Originally posted here Oz Comic-Con - Adelaide, April 2017 This year's favourite convention photo was an easy one. This photo, in the weirdest possible way, represents how people reacted to my secret surprise cosplay. I'll go into the why and how of Russell (from Pixar's 'Up') another time but this costume and how well he was received is certainly my highlight of the weekend. I told almost no one about this project and when I arrived I walked past friends multiple times for the better part of half an hour and even glancing at me they did not recognise me at all without the facial hair or covered in latex or armour! The over-the-top reactions from people once they recognised me were absolutely priceless. My love of cosplay is to do with the making and expressing my geeky interests (which this costume is also) but the reactions play a big part in the fun and theatre of this hobby too. Also people really just liked the costume in general. Whether it was seeing a grown man dressed as a boy scout or recognising the character from such a fun movie I saw a lot of smiles from the punters.
