Art evolves in the strangest places. I have a habit of creating on car trips and today was a get out of the suburbs adventure to Warburton. We did the aqua-duct trail and randomly parched next to my sister and her family. Both a long way from home but the universe made our paths meet after several months of social distancing. A full day of play at the Dandenong Ranges Open Studios inspired me to come me home and do my collage owls... stage 1. 🦉 So much fun playing with shapes then drawing in the details. Owls are amazing and full of wonderful, whimsical and curious expressions. I will definitely do more of these. Love the base of simple collage shapes as a space to imagine.
