allies are not erased from society or told that ‘theyll find the right person one day’ or told that ‘they will find The One’ or told raised in a society that normalizes things that dont apply to those groups, raised to believe that theyre broken

they dont get weird looks from their family members and friends who dont believe a single lick of shit about their identites

yep, no ally ever was told any of that if they just weren't interested in a relationship, or kids, or marriage. or were an artist/singer/writer/ other form of identity that isn't gender or sexual

i have seen multiple posters in my own fucking college advocating for allies week!!! and i only ever saw one obscure fucking poster for asexual week!! and what of the other a- beginning identities? not even noticed!! lol!! allies are known enough and are by no means erased

so tell me again how the A standing for more than one thing is erasure?

the difference between an ally and an aromantic or agender or asexual is a matter of opinion (which can change) versus an integral piece of their being that cant be changed

the community is supposed to a safe place for all those of marginalized genders, sexualities and romantic orientations, and you suggest we let in a group of people who face ”””oppression””” over an opinion that is, in fact, not a stagnant thing? allies are chill and are allowed to participate in the community ig, but they will never be allowed to claim to face our experiences and our struggles as an ally. if they realize they are queer? good for them! i welcome them! but once theyre part of our community they are not an ally because they are one of us

yes i intend to let those who fight and are injured and who even sometimes die for my cause into my special funhouse club
