The black beeswax picks up all of the hand carved details and looks even better with age, as the beeswax blooms. 🍂🦉Ok! Here we go! All of my favorite candles that I’ve been working on and waiting to share for last are finally ready! I’ve spent close to a year collecting these vessels! I am such a geek when it comes to anything vintage Halloween, so I went a little crazy when it came to vintage Halloween mugs and vessels. I had to be careful though because these can get expensive, and they were expensive. I knew they wouldn’t be for everyone. They would be for the freaks like me, who are obsessed wit Halloween candles AND vintage Halloween decorations! Because they were pricey I only have a few, but I LOVE THEM and I think you will too! These are vintage Cracker Barrel mugs where the front is an owl and the back is a pumpkin! The handle is a twisty vine! I love the colors, attention to detail and they are HUGE! These are collectors mugs so they will only go up in value over time. I poured my favorite pumpkin spice candle inside and decorated the top with an enchanting autumn scene. 🍂🦉Who remembers The Great Owl from The Secret of NIMH? Well he made such a big impression on me when I first encountered his webby hollow back in 1982. The way his eyes glowed orange and how he spun his head around to inspect Mrs. Brisby. I’ve been enamored by owls ever since. And yes, there are a lot of owl candles in my shop but I had to make one extra special for Halloween. This is my Great Owl candle. Made from soy wax and you can choose if you’d like yours to be scented with Pumpkin Spice, Pumpkin Apple Spice, Apple Harvest, Apples and Maple Bourbon or Caramel Popcorn. All of them smell delicious! Dressed with putka pods, acorns and moss to make a pumpkin patch scene and a dusting of biodegradable glitter from @glitter_nymph ✨I have a limited number of these and they will be posted in the shop today! My Minerva candles come in colors ranging from clear, red, blue, green, yelllow, purple and orange and every one is my favorite.🌟I have 10 of these cuties flying out to their new homes today!
