Belated realization bc I’m me and I gotta Make It Sad: Lilith not realizing Luz in Eda’s body wasn’t Eda is probably because a) they don’t see each other much anymore and b) she heavily implied the curse is altering Eda’s appearance
She probably just thought “oh, it’s accelerating even faster than I thought”
“You wouldn’t understand how to handle teens like her”
The more Luz refuses to engage and sounds like she has practice with this, the more sure I am that she was bullied a lot back home, and it’s making me very sad.
Well, that was a thing.
Least favourite so far, I’m afraid, though the few Lilith Tidbits were nice, and there was some good work put into designing the swapped characters. I just... get really stressed out from this kind of plot, you know? It’s way too easy to fuck someone’s life up if you can just pretend to be them.
I’m also mildly grouchy that I didn’t spot the code and don’t super want to rewatch to search for it, so if anybody has a time stamp maybe send me an ask or hit me up on Discord if you’re there 👀
I mean, it’s not a bad episode for what it is, it’s just that what it is is super not my speed. I’d consider crashing right on to a next one to cheer myself up, but I have D&D tonight.

it’s always neat to see how third eye characters’ expressions work
I like the decision to put her third eye on end rather than horizontal like the other two

Lilith straight out admitting that she’ll fuck with the law for Eda if she joins her is... simultaneously darkly hilarious because police corruption and also weirdly heartwarming?
