some no-context lore of Owel. Spoilers, Quirrel and Owel don't like eachother a lot.
Sorry I haven’t done much drawing lately qwq
Have been busy most of the time ^^”
Doodles is pretty much everything I can do so far ^^”
So here are some finished doodles I’ve done :b
(Sorry again qwq)
KRZO fic: viable
Summary:
Horobi walks closer and stops right beside her - instantly putting her on the defensive. If he tries to attack her now--
But he makes no move whatsoever, except to tell her, "Yaiba Yua. Know that we will get Naki eventually. But whether Vulcan lives or dies through our efforts... will be entirely up to you."
-
Notes: okay so this is like... a gut reaction to seeing those spoilers about Yua and Fuwa and like!!! This is such a tiny fic (362 words!!!) but I need to get my thoughts out on what the hell Yua must be thinking or else I wouldn’t be able to sleep lmao

bands that ur legally required to listen to at least once b4 u die
owel: really good poc-fronted indie rock band that sounds like an entire orchestra sometimes. listening to their album dear me in order is like ascending seven times in a row aajsjfjsnsn. ive got super gay memories abt them pls listen to owel (favorites: snowglobe, didn't i, albert and the hurricane)
many rooms: some of the songs have super christianic overtones if you are or are not into that but if u want to get kicked in the face while being taught the definition of hauntingly beautiful i highly recommend them (favorites: the nothing, promises, danielle)
skeleton staff: they're an australian virtual band (like gorillaz or studio killers) and their music is super funky; there's a huge range of genres in their discography from shit like classic rock to disco music. really active with their fanbase on instagram too u just gotta dm them and they'll have a conversation with u! (favorites: i told you i was poor, it's murder, art girl)
(feel free to add on !!!)

The term “I saw red” usually applies to situations when you get angry... REALLY angry. But the dreamy meandering, stringy opulent I Saw Red that we find ourselves swaying to in pure bliss is a rather halcyon and idyllic experience. I Saw Red comes from Pitchfork-praised indie-alt group OWEL, and it's lifted from the band’s upcoming album, Paris. The New Jersey five piece, who somehow managed to evade our attention prior to their new single, released their breakout second album Dear Me back in 2016, which received over five million streams. They steal our hearts away with their gorgeous song, a gently melancholic, sigh-inducing waltz brimming with bittersweet nostalgia. But before it fades away into the dark of night, I Saw Red surprises us with a warped and distorted section that injects a slight sense of discombobulating dread, almost like a horror film might do to unsettle us before it ends. It’s a tasteful and provocative closure that adds even more depth to the song as it waxes morose and much less hopeful. As in real life, there isn’t always a happily ever after. That perfect memory is perhaps just that. We may never see someone again, but at least we have that to hold on to, a tender imprint that will forever stay on our hearts. You can also stream OWEL’s I Saw Red on Spotify, here. The band will head out for a tour next month on the east coast. Dates and details are on their website, here.
