- Horobi, despite being a very sexy man, is total a virgin. At least he was, before you. But before your first time together, he was definitely nervous about making it good for you. He had spent so long denying himself emotion and connection, that he worried he didn't have what it took to satisfy you. Of course, he had nothing to worry about. He was always perfect for you.

- One thing about Horobi is that he is a very quick learner. Once he finds out what you like, he remembers and puts it to use whenever possible. He encourages you to be vocal with him, to tell him when he's making you feel good.

Ikazuchi tightened a screw that didn’t need tightening, before dropping the screwdriver out of habit. It clattered against the concrete floor, and he froze, hand still hovering in the air, eyes fixed on the tool where it lay. Subaru would have laughed at that. He always did, always amused by his brother’s adjustment to life on the ground. But now, the clatter of the tool was met with silence.

He didn’t bother picking it back up. The last of his focus had already drained, leaving his half-finished work in front of him nothing more than a tangle of parts and wires. Whatever drive he's had to repair it slipped away in the silence that followed. So he sat there instead, legs folded beneath him on the cold floor, his gaze drifting until it settled on the wall opposite him.

The door eased open with barely a sound, and movement stirred at the edge of Ikazuchi’s vision. Horobi entered as if pulled forward by some invisible force, with a distant look that did not match his stride. For the briefest second, when his eyes met Ikazuchi’s, it was as though he was hollow. As if he’d walked into a room and immediately forgotten what he was doing there, but continuing regardless.

Ikazuchi looked down at the abandoned device. It wasn’t even important really. But he was the one who’d kicked it off the table in frustration, and more importantly, it kept his hands busy.

“I, uh… I’m pretty sure I’ve already voided the warranty on this thing. Don’t suppose you fancy helping me make it worse?”

Horobi’s steps slowed, then stopped altogether, as if needing just those extra few seconds to realise he was being spoken to. And for a moment, he stood very still, before turning his head ever so slightly.

“I do not believe you require such assistance.”

Ikazuchi huffed out something like a laugh, but not quite. “Yeah, that’s fair.”

Horobi’s gaze lingered just a fraction too long, before he shifted away silently, intent on following whatever the Ark had demanded from him now.

“Wait! Just-”

Ikazuchi pushed himself to his feet, hand lifting instinctively towards Horobi, though he stopped short of actually making contact. Still, the motion was enough to make Horobi halt mid-step, and turn back to him.

“You…”

Ikazuchi’s throat tightened. He couldn’t stand it, all this emotion, all this heartbreak. It was simply too heavy, too unbearable. Too brutal. So he forced a grin, and let much lighter and safer words come out.

“You can’t just… walk out on me after insulting my repairing skills like that.”

“I did not intend to insult you.”

Ikazuchi shook his head. “Yeah, no, I didn’t mean-”

“Your methods are unconventional, and at times… chaotic. But you excel at tasks of this nature. To imply otherwise would be… deceitful.”

Ikazuchi’s smile faltered, and his mouth opened, then closed again. Finally, he forced himself to speak.

“Well… that was certainly one hell of a glowing review.”

Horobi’s gaze drifted past Ikazuchi then, and onto the screwdriver laying haphazardly on the floor.

“It seems your persistent battle with gravity endures.” He looked back at Ikazuchi. “It should know better than to fight you.”

Ikazuchi blinked, his breath catching in his throat, and for a moment, he almost laughed for real this time. But before he could verbally respond, Horobi had turned, and exited.

Horobi had always been an observer; He never acted unless he was directed to, or someone had forced his hand. So when Jin began to plant a small garden near their home, Horobi simply watched with great joy to see the being he calls his son care for the beauty that they wished to protect. Jin's collection had begun to sprout over time as more pots and pans would be filled with soil and seeds, and Horobi...simply watched. He would occasionally check on them to see how they were doing, but left their nutrients to Jin.

That was until you had taken interest within Jin's garden. He always loved talking about it, so it wasn't long until Jin had dragged you to help him take care of his precious babies...which eventually got Horobi to assist as well.

"They look like you don't they, Horobi?"

Horobi couldn't understand the words that had come from your mouth, scanning the pot before you over and over again. "I...do not understand, (Y/N). How...do these hyacinths...look like me....?"

You and Jin couldn't help but snicker at his words. "Horobi, (Y/N) doesn't mean it actually looks like you!"

"Mhm," you chuckled. "It just has the right shade of purple! You know, the one that you're often wearing when you transform!"

"The...right shade..." Horobi muttered, gently taking the plant into his arms. "I...don't believe so. My color is a more vibrant shade of purple. The ones you have picked out are a bit darker."

"But I was close enough!" you huffed. "Right, Jin?"

"I mean...kinda-!" Jin snickered. "But you're trying your best!"

Both you and Jin high fives as Horobi glanced towards pots below the two of you. "A hyacinth for each member of Metsuboujinrai..."

"Mhm!" you nodded. "Purple is for you, white is Naki, pink is Jin, and red is Ikazuchi!"

"They're so cute!" Jin sang. "I can't wait to show the others! I wonder if Zero One would enjoy seeing these as well!"

The leader of Mestuboujinrai sighed, watching the petals of the hyacinths dance under the sunlight. "...I suppose. However...there is one missing." "Huh?" you glanced towards Horobi. "But that's everyone-"

"There should be one for you, (Y/N). You are part of our family."

You couldn't help but blush as you took a step back, glancing towards Jin. "W-well- I mean- I don't think I need one but-"

Jin's eyes began to spark as he squealed. "Wait, you should have one (Y/N)! You've helped us so much, so it's only fair!"

"I...uh...well...thanks..."

Horobi took your hand within his. "Of course. Shall we acquire a hyacinth in your favorite color?"

Your blush grew deeper as you glanced away. "I...um...we can try..."

Everything will be okay.

Horobi once again rationalized as he attempted to hold Metsuboujinrai.net together, his grip tightening as Jin sobbed into his arms while Naki and Ikazuchi screamed into the abyss. "It will be okay." Horobi took a deep breath once more. "It will be alright. Isamu Fuwa will stop us. Everything will be okay."

Kamen Rider Metsuboujinrai continued to raid throughout the city, destroying buildings with one slash of its sword as the citizens screamed in panic. Horobi closed his eyes, repeating those same words once more. "It will be alright. We must stay strong."

Where was it going?

Towards the base of Metsuboujinrai, needing to repair its damaged components after a brutal fight with one of its enemies.

Before long, the monster they had unleashed had wandered back to the garden you and Jin had planted together. Jin glanced up from his tears, sniffling and rushing towards the vision before them. "No!" he begged, slamming his hands against the screen. "Please, no! Don't hurt them! We've worked so hard on this!"

"Jin..."

The machine made from their wills carefully glanced towards the hyacinths you lot had cherished in the past.

Maybe...there was hope. Maybe a spark would have lit up within that body, allowing the members to try and take control and fix what they have done.

Crush.

What a foolish thought.

Naki, Jin, and Ikazuchi could only watch helplessly as Horobi broke down into tears, watching Kamen Rider Metsuboujinrai smash the pots with its foot, grinding the petals into the ground.
