Answer: Not now, but soon. --- After much deliberation and reflection among the admins, we have decided that OVRP will be officially closing on our six-month anniversary, October 11th. We are incredibly saddened and heartbroken by this decision but feel it is necessary and inevitable after such significant activity drop and reopenings. We have weighed out our options and have come to a conclusion that without a proper revamp (starting over, reopening all roles, and promoing in the tags), Â there is little to no alternatives we have left that will get the dash moving to a comfortable pace again. If we were to do another activity check today, majority (other than those on semi's) would be on activity warning with another handful of reopenings. We completely understand the lack of muse and how hectic ooc life can get; in fact, all of us are experiencing a mixture of both of the things in the above - so we get it, babes. We 100% understand and we do not blame any of you for the inactivity or slowness of the dash. It happens, it's inevitable, and that's okay.
As always, we absolutely adore and love each and every one of you; whether you have been here since Day 1 or only joined us last week, we couldn't be any more grateful and appreciative to you all for giving us your time and interest. Our members make OV. Our members did an outstanding job and allowed our RP to last half a year in a dying community. We thank each and every one of you for your time, commitment, involvement and energy. You all blow us away and we could not have asked for more quality role players. Getting to know each and every one of your characters has been an absolute joy for all three of us. There was a variety of characters and each  had their own unique quirks and flaws that we have had a pleasure getting to know.
Once again, we apologize sincerely, from the bottom of our hearts, about this sudden decision.(Though, we're sure it was anticipated after this past week.) We have decided to give everyone a week and a half to continue as they'd like. No activity warnings or reopenings will be given - nor will we be accepting any new applicants. Please feel free to post self paras, chats, texts, tweets, & etc whether it pertains to current time in the RP or in the future. We would be over the moon to find out just what exactly you had plan. Tell us your head canons, stir up your last bit of drama, and make whatever you'd like of this time - or do nothing at all. However, we do highly encourage those to stick around for our final week(s) because there may be a thing or two that will be posted just so we go out in a bang.

Happy Sunday, lovelies! Today we have decided to address some on-going issues in the roleplay. It has come to our attention that a generous amount of members have disregarded the honor code or don’t take it as earnestly as we originally intended. However, we can’t put all the blame on our lovely members because as admins we have been incredibly lenient recently. Unfortunately, this has backfired considering we have received both anonymous and direct complaints - mainly pertaining to selectivity. In attempt to fix some of these complications, we posted a task for plotting which no one (including us) did. After some brief investigation, we found out that many of our members (yes, us too) were actively ignored. We don’t want to continue OV as a selective mess nor do we want to turn off any potential applicants from a roleplay that could be a great home for them. As admins we are taking full responsibility for not enforcing the honor code as often as we should. Below the cut you will find updated (and added) sections to the rules with a brief description to each. A link to the honor code can be found here. Please like once seen.
001. never go inactive for more than two days, otherwise my role will be reopened by the third day. If I need to go on a hiatus, I will inform the admins for approval.Â
We have recently been allowing members three days of inactivity, then reopening the fourth. This will no longer be tolerated and we will be enforcing this more sternly.
002. never reblog music, photos,  or musings  with the intentions of calling it activity, though they are welcomed. Tweets do not count as activity.Â
We will no longer be using the time updates in the following. We will check each blog thoroughly to ensure no one is reblogging/posting tweets/oocs with hopes to bypass an activity check.
005. always tag any triggering content and put all smut under read-mores.
Please tag accordingly and don’t mock tag (i.g - tw gay, tw feminism, or tw sadness).

006. not participate in any ooc drama and never take anything ic personally. If I am sent any ooc hate, I will inform the admins immediately and not post the message.
There have been a few instances were ooc hate was sent and was posted to the dash. Now we don’t want to alarm anyone nor do we want the anon to know it’s affecting you. We ask kindly for everyone to take a SCREENSHOT of the hate and send it to the admins via submit. We will investigate the hate and do our best to find out who sent it. Then this person will be removed immediately from the group. This also includes sending yourself hate. We will consider all possibilities and this means looking at all the suspects. Even the most unlikely ones!
007. never be selective about my replies and respond to all starters with less than fifteen notes or respond to a minimum of four BEFORE posting my own. I will also never post a starter then delete it if there’s replies.
Unfortunately, this has been an major issue in the roleplay. Unless you are mobile and posting/replying to a text starter (state in the tags you’re mobile), selectivity will not be tolerated. If you are on the dash, you are expected to respond to more than just one person. We also will no longer be tolerating those who posts starters before replying to a minimum of four starters. You need to do this BEFORE. We will be actively messaging people who don’t reply to starters/post before replying and giving them a warning.Â
008. only drop replies once a week and not with a specific individual unless I message them about it to inform them why I’m doing so.
There has been many instances where people have come to us about threads being dropped with a certain individual while they continue with others. From now on, please only drop threads once a week. However, if you have no muse/find the conversation going no where, please please message the person you are about to drop a thread with and let them know why! If you ever find yourself in a situation where your thread has been dropped and the person replying to you never messaged you, please let us know.
011. plot with as many people as I can even if our characters share no common interest. Just officially determining they are acquaintances or going with the flow is okay. Minor connections are connections.
This goes back to our task, babes! We want everyone to be plotting with one another. Even if the plot/connection is small, at least it’s been established and contact has been made.Â
012. never be biased with my replies/plotting based on gender or fc. We all have our preferences, but it is never okay to deliberately leave someone out because they are a female character or not your favorite fc.
We need to stress this to the max! Many members have a preference for male threads and only male threads. We are well aware of a handful of people who actively reply to male threads then drop female threads after two or three replies. This will no longer be tolerated. We are a family and all characters are just as important as the other. Regardless of gender or fc, all characters deserved to be loved the same amount.Â
013. never skip or jump replies. I will reply in order unless a specific thread has a time restriction.
Now we understand that some threads have more appeal than others, but we please ask for everyone to begin replying to threads in order. Put the activity option on Tumblr to use and respond to threads in the order they came. If Sandy replied first and your ship partner Brian replied after, you are to reply to Sandy THEN Brian. Jumping and skipping replies often makes people feel excluded or not as wanted as some members.Â
We love and adore you all so much, but we can only allow breaches to the code for so long before it begins to turn off people. Us admins are guilty of breaking the honor code and we apologize sincerely for not being an active role model to the group. We promise we will change this and expect you all to the same. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message the main and we will respond to all questions to our earliest convenience!Â

Before we jump straight into it, we want to say DON’T BE ALARMED. We are not going anywhere, loves. We are here for the long term and we hope you are, too. This roleplay is very dear to us, including the members with us now, with us in the past, and hopefully with us in the future! As we’re sure many of you have noticed, the dash has slowed down within the past two weeks. Though, not significantly, but enough to alarm the admins and want to put a stop to it. There’s also been a handful of indirect and direct complaints we have received for a variety of aspects in the roleplay mostly concerning cliquey-ness and selectivity. After much deliberation amongst the admins, we’ve decided that we’re going to use this opportunity to fix numerous factors in the roleplay. We will be going on a week-long revamp starting today and ending next Saturday, June 27th. For more information on what we’ll be doing, a FAQ, and what we need from our members, please check below the read more. Like once read.
Need to know -
1. This is not a full revamp. We will not be reopening any of your characters. However, we ask for you to like this (click link) post if you plan on rejoining next Saturday and sticking with us. Please only do so if you are serious about dedicating your time to the group. If you have two characters, please like on both.
2. The dash will remain open - meaning, you are free to continue IC interaction. However, we ask kindly of you to refrain from dramatic plots, developments, and  threads considering T will not be active.
3. You have the OPTION to go inactive this week. There will be no activity updates and no one will be reopened for not being on for more than 3+ days.Â
4. We will be clearing out our inbox. So, if you need your class schedule, secrets, or app - please message the main no later than Monday, June 22nd.
5. Â It would be incredibly appreciated if everyone resent their secrets (all together) to the gossip blog. Feel free to use this time to change secrets, add on to them, or plot with other members to create a secret together. Please remember the format of minor, minor, and major.
6. Starting this Monday, there will be no school. It is Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 25th) break in the roleplay. School will resume Monday, November 29th.
7. We will be changing themes, adding new pages, updating class information, and reaching out to a select few members about the honor code.  If you have any issues, clarifications and/or excuses - now would be the great time to message us about what’s been going on.
8. We are looking for a co-admin (bitch) to assist our lovely T with the gossip blog. If you are interested, you can find the app here and submit to the gossip blog.
9. The main will remain semi-active. We will answer all and any questions you have, but there will not be regular updates.  We will not be accepting any new members or characters this week. The submit is closed. However, if you need to send us something, feel free to send us an ask and we’ll open it for you!
10. We’re also happy to announce that we have decided to open a plotting tag. You are free to make ooc posts regarding plots and only plots. Please, message anyone and everyone who makes a post there! Do not post in the tag more than twice a week. -- #ovplots

-- Over the next week, we suggest for everyone to reach out and discuss plots and connections. Make sure everything is still going as assumed, the connection is as solid as you want it to be, and if they’re not really doing anything - plan something for the future! Judging off this group, you have an 8/10th chance of being turned down and if you are, message the main about it. We will not tolerate selectivity. Hey, babes. Considering the fact our two month anniversary is coming up, we figured we’d take the time to address one apparent issue that’s recently come up in the tags. Unfortunately, someone has been sending our url to rpt’s stating that we are a cliquey group. Not only do we want to apologize to those perceiving us as this, but also express how much we adore each and everyone of your characters. We have no intentions whatsoever to leave anyone out; we consistently encourage people to plot, send things to the gossip blog, and  start drama of their own. However, we do have to state that in order for a group to be successful in terms of all-character interaction,  everyone must contribute and follow the honor code. Please, remember to reply to a minimum of four starters before posting your own, don’t drop threads regularly and do your best in attempt to plot with all those you can. If you want your character to be more talked about, don’t hesitate to start up some drama, send things to T, and etc. Every message sent to the Gossip blog is answered unless it is a repeat question or we sense an ooc motivation behind it. It’s just a two-way street, my loves. You work with us and we work with you, but unless confronted, some issues may never be dealt with because we were never made aware of them. Us admins, upon discovery of the recent negativity in the tags, have vowed to take one day each week to send things to T about each and every character in the roleplay. We also will be more on top of enforcing the starter rule and if anyone appears to be cliquey, please don’t hesitate to message us. That includes us, if you think us three aren’t doing such a hot job, don’t be afraid to approach us about it. You are free to send us anonymous message, however, we do have a much more effective option that can be found here. This will give us in-depth feedback on the group and we will work accordingly to which will benefit the group as a whole. We love and appreciate this group more than you all know. We have a few surprises being worked on which we’re hoping to premiere on our anniversary, but before we do so, we want to make sure everything is a smooth sailing. Us three are incredibly grateful to have found such a steady, sustainable group of rpers willing to stick with us for so long and continue being active. We have a large amount of love and admiration for you all, whether you’ve been here from the first acceptance or barely joined us last week, we are beyond grateful and wanted to take the time to express how much we appreciate you lot. It’s no secret that the roleplay community on Tumblr has died down quite a bit the past year or so, some only making it a week or two, some never opening at all, but here OV is, still standing tall at over a month and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. As admins, we have the best intentions at heart and will continue to put foremost effort into this group to ensure the utter most success for OV. However, considering there’s only three of us and a little over twenty-five of you, we are well aware the opinions vary and just because we think things are going smooth, doesn’t necessarily mean they are. Basically, what we’re attempting to get across is that we want to hear from you -- we want your feedback (not active enough on the main, different theme, & etc), suggestions (more events, tasks, added classes & etc), concerns (too many ooc posts, selective replies, & etc), and any and all inquires you may have. We want to hear what changes you want to see at OV, things you wish to be done differently, let us know if we need to enforce the rules more - literally anything you have in mind, please don’t hesitate to tell us. We will be thoroughly reviewing everyone’s blog within the next week to make sure everyone is following the honor code and actively participating in the roleplay. We want to keep OV going for as long and possible and the only way to do that is if we’re all on the same page. Now, keep in mind, everything will be considered and we will alter the group based on what we deem plausible.
