The artist is aware that the Care Bears franchise became one of the first few victims of a corporate trend of Oversimplication ever since Unlock The Magic was first being animated. Back when he was still animating in the same studio that was also working on Unlock The Magic, he noticed how difficult it was to differentiate which episode was being animated from the distance over the months that followed, compared to when witnessing another team working on the 2017 Ducktales reboot.

Sis, I think you're overthinking what the art dude thinks. He's just sick of using multiple gradients as a cheap way to blend more than three colors together.

I know the artist wants to draw Togetherness again, this time with a flashlight shone on her! Or walking around the greyscale world of Madness Combat and giving it color! Or, or-

The artist nearly died coloring her today already, Hugs. I don't know if he still has the stamina to draw her again next time.
