Howl blinked when Jinji's larges palms cupped his face and dark eyes stared back as he caught the taller man's gaze; the moment did not last long, however, but his gaze had lingered until a big arm wrapped around him instead. Jinji was happy to lose today as it finally meant a win for Howl and though he was out of breath himself, his chest felt warm.

Swallowing lightly, he was ready to peel of the hoodie he had worn on the run with his friend, and the only article of clothing he had actually worn to give him some comfort from the heat was a pair of red running shorts, so aside from that, Howl was melting - figuratively, but still. Being able to push Jinji to being a bit winded had been hard.

Though casual in his response, Doflamingo on the other hand felt himself grow a bit impatient. Shichibukai. The dogs of the government.

Or at least that was how most would think of the title. Doflamingo, however, knew just how corrupt the system was, seeing as he had his eye on it for a short moment. Hesitant at the step, hearing Crocodile’s name as one of them had been a completely unexpected thing. Of all the big names out there, Doflamingo hadn’t expected this one to join hands with the government.

“Fufufu, you scheming bastard,” a name called with love, (hah as if!), Doflamingo shook his head: “Refusing to become a Shichibukai wouldn’t be stupid. Of course, that would be if we were to assume it was a boring weakling.”

Doflamingo had his own (perhaps ridiculous) pride, never one to outright ask someone else for something he wanted, unless the situation made it favorable. However, Crocodile didn’t treat Doflamingo as those other fools, so he’d have to give in even more to find out.
