This charity is committed to raising awareness of all genetic conditions invisable an visable. Last year me& daughter @eleanordonnelly06 raised awareness in school and in 2016 we did charty walk at bham half marathon in my robotic suit called ROBOCOP. Nicki"I was born with a connetic tissue disease called Elhers-danlos syndrome which comes in different stages. The stage i hae haslife expectancy of 48 without thw treatments and medical aids an mdication put in place it is debilitating. It affects ally joints, dislctions, bruises, chronic pain,brain function. My family gave up on but i didn't. I belived in myself to live and achieve all my goals. I did just that,i became a Police Officer and had a rewarding career for 10 years. But i was injured on duty that left me paralysed for lfe (this is seperate condition from the genetic condition),i was then permanently in a wheelchair . I began living a positive life to help others with my daughter by making all my impossibilities possible for disability inclusion. As you now know my disability is visable but genetic conditions are also invisable like my daugters. @eleanordnnelly06 has Joint Hypermobility Syndrome Eleanors picture shows her arms overextend without her knowledge,it causes chronic pain,mobility issus,dexterity problems,and joints locking& dislocating,medication use, wears custom made orthotic foot supports inside her shoes to help the bones from deforming and deteriaiting. Both of us embrace life and have a POSITIVE outlook on life.
