I am not a welder. My neighbor, who IS a welder (ship and underwater cert) stopped in this afternoon as I was putting together my mobile tubing bender stand. We talked, he nodded, then looked at my welds for far too long. He said “those are OK for an apprentice”. It was a backhanded compliment, but I will take it! He also said my bender stand was “way too complicated” and I will take that as a compliment too!!
