I feel like John and Thomas will butt heads re: the whole witch hunt thing. I think John thinks it’s totally ridiculous and that everyone is getting overly excited b/c of the murders and tbh Thomas is not helping at all and John just sees him as someone who is fueling this chaos and needs to be stopped haha. 

Anyway, Isaac and Thomas are both members of the council, so they’d definitely know each other! I do think that Isaac was probably kinda suspicious of Thomas before b/c like “where did you come from?!??! who were your parents??? how come we don’t really know you!?!?!?” and idk isaac can def be paranoid sometimes, haha. BUT I think that Isaac will really get behind him when it’s revealed that he’s pro-witch hunt. (Also if he’s published other books before, Isaac could potentially have become a fan of those, depending what they’ve been about?? idk he’s a huge reader so he’s probably read them, at least.)
