And it was the most rewarding and accepting place. It was where I verbalized me being trans without hesitation. It was where I met the most amazing, loving, beautiful and unique people. It was where I was no longer the minority, but rather the majority. It's a place I am so heartbroken to leave because it was a place where I could be proud and out and open without feeling anxiety or shame. It's a place where I was actually called by the correct pronouns and bonded with others over bring transgender. It's a place I can only dream of going to again, because I truly felt at home, and at ease with myself, and all those around me.
