i need a solider buddies thread tbh. i need it five years ago. i need talks that last for hours about how they remember each one they’ve lost because fuck, we’ve come so far and we’ve lost so many. remember that time when ... and then laughing about the ones they remember doing stupid shit just for a joke, or maybe the ones that did it on accident and that was forever what they were known for. i need solider buddies that understand one another like they’ve been known each other since they were kids and grew up together, that just know almost every aspect of what the other is feeling or thinking about because they’re just that close ( or that observant ), buddies that will stick together through thick and thin even when one of them is being stupid and the other knows its a bad fucking idea; buddies that would literally drag the other, armor and all, for miles and miles before they find help; the ones that make promises to one another that should one of them not make it out alive, they would give speeches to their families and give them their spare tag, and say sappy shit at the other’s grave when they come home. the ones that even help each other through tough shit while behind enemy lines, or calm down after an episode. i just need soldier buddies okay. that would be a+++ thing to do.
