[2026-07-03] The trig point on Outer Edge. Walkd up from Kings Tree via Cut Gate. The trig point at here is a good place for a coffee. Then down to Crow Stones which are an amazing group of rocks hidden away at the top of the Upper Derwent Valley. The walk back involved lots of small paths that re hidden under the bracken. As you can see cloudy which is better than the heat wave from late June. It was a bit windy but nothing compared to the day before.

(2024-06-17) Outer Edge. This is the trig point on Outer Edge. A great walk up from Kings Tree in the Upper Derwent valley, via Cut Gate. Return by visiting the rock formations at Crow Stones, Rocking Stones and Bull Stones.
