AH okay i see! For a second i thought this was the RA who was a moron, but yeah it’s definitely tricky in situations like this like you could hand them off to the higher ups but then like you said, you’d lose their trust and it’s a hard path
it's also like, the RD (resident dean) can make any decision he wants and we have no say. like, I don't think either of our residents require this for their respective issues, but he could technically be like "you can't drink/smoke/do whatever anymore or you lose housing" and that would be it
