pairing: sunoo x reader

warnings: i used some korean in this just bc that’s how the story came together in my head and when it’s translated into english it just didn’t have the same effect. i included translations in parenthesis :)

you and your newfound best friend, ni-ki, had decided to hang out at his place. he shared a dorm with his six other members-- this wasn’t something you minded, however. 

“this must be a big change, having to live with your members,” you converse while popping a snack into your mouth.

“mmm yeah but it’s okay, my hyungs all treat me really well,” was all ni-ki said as he concentrated on the game playing on the tv.

you sigh, “sunoo is so cute. i wish we could compare hand sizes and fall in love or something.”

you look to him,  “wouldn’t that be so cute ni-ki ya?” 

you can hear a snicker being suppressed from the kitchen; both you and ni-ki turn your heads into that direction to see the owner of the laugh. before you’re able to process anything, ni-ki bursts out in laughter.

“hAHAHAHAHAH 오마이갓 헐!! (omg omg)”

 realization finally hits, “EH?! HOW MUCH DID YOU HEAR? EVERYTHING??”

covering your face, you run away to the nearest corner and face it, tucking your head into your knees.

“this is so embarrassing. i just wanna dig a big hole, go into it, and never come out.”

“오 왜 (wae/why),, don’t say that” you turn around to find that sunoo had followed you into the corner you were hiding in, and immediately turn back around to face the wall out of embarrassment. he squats down to your level and faces you.

amidst this all, ni-ki can’t stop laughing. at this point you’re sure he’s either got tears in his eyes or has developed abs from laughing so much.

“yah i didn’t know you felt that way about sunoo hyung- the fact that he was right there makes it so much more funny aHAHAHAHAH”
