Inside the 16th century Xhamia e Hadumit (Hadum Mosque), built in 1592-3 by Hadum Sylejman Efendia; the Hadum mosque stands in the heart of the old bazaar of Gjakova. 1967

1913. Autochrome photographs of Prishtina, Kosovo, by the french photographer Auguste Leon. The old bazar of Prishtina and some of the mosques represented here was destroyed by the communist regieme’s modernist experimental appetite after the IIWW.
