Honestly all the positive posts I’m seeing and all the people mourning Carrie Fisher’s death and honoring her life in various ways, they tear me up every time. This really hit hard for me, especially coupled with the passing of her mom under those circumstances. Fisher always reminded me of my mom in many ways and with her passing early 2016, Carrie’s death hits even harder.

To me it looks like Trump let himself be bought by fascist, sexist, Islamophobic, bigoted and racist people during his campaign, which shows now in who he's been picking for key positions of staff. I'm sure they saw what 50% of voters failed to recognize; that Trump cares more about himself and his pocketbook than he does about anybody else. That and/or Trump simply is that deplorable and thinks claiming not to be now is enough for most Americans and the world, despite the mountains of evidence proving his words are utterly hollow.
