Uproot & Replant (An Ode to Forests) is Otodojoās first release on Mesma Records. Originally created as a live set for one of Mesmaās Mesmarize events in Brooklyn, the EP is a collection of four progressive compositions, lush and explosive worlds of sounds and textures neighboring ambient, dub and downtempo territories. The four tracks all combine Otodojoās distinctive sound, Kalimba loops and natural harmonies as expansive other-worldly panoramas. Otodojo is a prolific New York-born producer, visual artist and organizer of the community-driven parties Microtones that ran in Ithaca (NY) for five years before moving to Detroit with them.
