What made Ruby join the band? What is her relationship with Ramon like?

Thanks for the ask!! (also I am so sorry for the late reply, I've been so busy recently, it's crazy ππ)
In my AU, The Glade is attacked just like in CLH and unfortunately, Ramon and Ruby were the only ones to make it out of there. Because of that, they stuck together whilst they were figuring out what to do when they got to America. When Ramon became a famous singer in the boy band group he was signed to with Eden, he didn't get much time to talk to Ruby. However, this never stopped them from findings was to still hang out. They always love to joke and laugh about memories of the past, and talk about things that are currently happening in their lives. Despite everything the both of them have been through, they still have each others backs no matter what.
As for how Ruby joined the band, she was one of the first people Ramon asked to join since he knew she was looking for a group. Unlike her brother, Ruby found it hard to be signed to record labels and she would always end up doing small gigs in bars or local music halls so she could get by and pay for rent. She always wanted to be something bigger than she was, and Ramon decided to ask her if she wanted to join his band since he could see she had good vocals and insane skills with both electric and bass guitars.
