Y'all, I think for NCT, we as NCTzens need to pay a little bit more attention. Like seriously. We do. One as to how they work and secondly a lot of things determine how a group will debut. And in this case for WayV, I understand why they have to debut with Regular.
If y'all remember, last year we got the idea of which artists of SM will have a comeback in which month and when NCT China would debut. The plan was to originally debut in November or December, right after 127's comeback. So that way, Regular would have English, Korean and Chinese version back to back. That would have been a straight story. But NCT China's debut was pushed back to December and to fill in this gap, 127 made a comeback with Regulate which shocked us a little. But the political scenario was not in favour of that debut at that moment. They couldn't have NCT China introduce themselves as NCT for obvious reasons. So they had to find a way out to debut WayV as smoothly as possible without facing backlash. Hence Label V is mentioned in the end of WayV videos and not SM.
So now that WayV can debut without much problem, they will carry on with their original plan which is release Regular Chinese version first. And then obviously they have the whole year to release new content. So really people. Calm down. Think about it a little. And WayV is not really a new BOY GROUP. Its a new SUBUNIT of NCT. And there will be many more such occasions where one song will have 2 to 3 versions. Just enjoy the song in different languages. It sounds a lot more different than you think. Adds new flavour and twist to the whole concept altogether.
