Population of 392; part of Greece; 3.89 square miles.
Interesting fact: a big cave on the island is called Calypso’s Cave.

Othonoi (Οθωνοί, Italian: Fanò) is an Ionian Islands in Greece. Since a 2011 government reform, it’s part of Corfu; it’s also the westernmost point of Greece, population 392. Most of the locals can trace their origins to Paxi island just south, as people from Paxi were settled here beginning in the 1570s by the Venetian Republic. A cave, near the Aspri Ammos (White Sand) beach, is traditionally believed to have been the place where Calypso kept Odysseus captive. Othonoi is mentioned from antiquity under the name Othronos.
