The man held the knife at your throat and told you to be silent. You tried to be, you really did, but there was some hope after all. The smell of cigarette smoke lingered towards you and you called out for help quickly before this mugger could stop you.

A man turned the corner and stopped as he saw you in your predicament. The mugger threatened to cut your throat if this man stepped any closer. But the man did step forward, his body in a defensive position, looking like he was ready to throw down punches any second. The cigarette didn’t even leave his mouth, the smoke was blowing out from his nostrils.

The mugger had not been expecting this clearly. In his shock, he knicked your neck a little with the knife, and then took off running, completely forgetting about the wallet that you had in your hands and were going to hang over. You bent over and sighed with relief as you no longer felt touched and violated. Having a knife at your throat was never a good feeling.

He had been anticipating this moment. During tour, he had taken the time to get to know your work, to listen to your music, to know your face. He knew exactly what he was doing, and the rest of the band was in on it as well.

When Brian, or Marilyn as he was better known, had figured out that his roadie was a musician, he thought you deserved your time to shine. So when Coma White came on, a song he had seen you cover on your youtube channel, he beckoned you over.

It took Jeordie coming over, taking your arm and skipping you towards Marilyn to get you on stage, and Brian wrapped his arm around your shoulders, handing over his microphone to you.
