Work being slow was one of the most irritating things Aedan had to work with. He liked being busy, liked being occupied, and enjoyed working. Not many people could say that. But then again, not many people really enjoyed their jobs.

The most annoying thing about all this was probably the fact that he could easily see other people from the same company busily typing at their computers, disappearing out of the door only to return an hour later, or longer. He didn't understand why people didn't come to him, instead of his stupid colleagues. But, in order to look professional, he didn't comment or portray his boredom.

He wrote an email again and again that had no sender nor a subject. And, in reality, if someone read it it wouldn't make a lick of sense.

The American soon got bored of pretending to be busy. So he opened his briefcase, peering at the files inside briefly. He placed his tablet on top and grabbed his phone and keys. Without a word, he left the office with the intention of finding someone on the streets that he could lure back into renting or buying.

Or even someone just for company.

"Excuse me, sir!" he called out cheerily. He'd found a third person to ask, the other two -- a couple and a middle-aged lady that had both been rather forceful in their denies to wanting to look at properties, or even have anything to do with him -- having not been successful.
