Hello everyone. I hope you are well. I am still alive and writing. And my channel will be getting a facelift soon.  In the mean time, I had this sitting in my folder from a late night session when I decided to pick up my guitar and simply enjoy playing and singing an acoustic cover from an anime that I remembered I really liked... then throw in some harmony because I couldn’t resist.  I will revisit this to re-record a more polished version, but for now I wanted to put another track at least out into the virtual universe to let you know I am still here, and I hope you too are well. And I hope you like this simple ‘unplugged’ cover. 

This musical character theme is meant to give you a glimpse into her past leading into her rocky present, and the layers of emotional turmoil that has made her the hard skinned vampire huntress she is today. After a long hiatus it’s time to share a special cover I’ve been revisiting for a little while and felt this was the right time to finally set it free as part of this week’s celebrations. Happy Friday! I thought I’d share another cover from my Youtube channel, a song that is near and dear to my heart from a movie equally as precious.  I won an Anime Idol competition performing this piece. I remember being nervous seeing so many pop performances and thinking a classical song like this wasn’t ‘idol’ material in comparison, but I was humbled to realize otherwise. Whoa it’s been 1 year already?! 0_0 Thank you to everyone who’s made this blog feel like it’s meant something. I’m going to work harder this year to grow as a composer and deliver better music to you. I’m happy my music has reached and given some enjoyment to people, and hope to reach even more in this second year.
