Back on my Osprey grind for the season! Both nests have returned their pairs and they seem to be settling in nicely. Honestly this year I think it will be just as fun seeing what other shore birds I can identify while I monitor the Osprey nests. This morning in a quick observation sesh, I spied double crested cormorants, a lesser yellowlegs, a snowy egret, two willets, two oystercatchers, a ton of herring gulls, a ton of Canada geese and some killdeer. I feel so lucky to have picked the nests I did, that I get to enjoy this approach every session!
