how did they meet in your canon perhaps
I have a lot of plans for them that won't come to fruition for a while, so I don't want to give away too many spoilers. however, I can share how they met and what brought them closer.
Osobist was sent from Russia to the US on a work assignment (I'm not entirely sure of the specifics yet). James had a previous encounter with SCP-3999, but in my canon, they managed to escape and survive. due to a chain of events that Osobist suddenly gets involved, SCP-3999 breaches containment and snatches Talloran again, this time taking Dmitry with it too.
