reasons for why they need a hug/hugs: -yetd donnie experiences paranoia, has an alien living in their body (the kraang) that talks to them sometimes and runs experiments on themself to try and get rid of it -lftpd d was trapped in the prison dimension for three years, forgot basically everything, was severely injured, and barely stayed sane -f!donnie watched raph die, died verself, experienced the apocalypse and then came back and got thrown int another timeline -csm donnie lives in constant fear of the devil hunters finding him because if they do he will die and has had a few close calls/encounters
-osnw donnie doesn't remember anything besides their name and is trapped in the ruins of the hidden city which are overrun with kraang and just generally dangerous -pd donnie is constantly unaware/distanced from their surroundings and heavily connected to the technodrome while having pretty bad injuries and doesn't understand why everyone is so worried which .. yeah
