Oajan (eau de parfum) Parfums de Marly
Soft amber
Oajan is an unforgettable olfactory journey. This eau de parfum envelopes the skin with rich and warm top notes of honey and cinnamon, punctuated with fruity osmanthus. The heart continues the narrative and exhilarates the senses, with sweet and smooth amber, labdanum and benzoin that are rounded off under united notes of vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli and Davan. A noble style de vie. Original in its craftsmanship.
Captivating sophistication in its black and gold attire, Oajan by Parfums De Marly is made for the contemporary connoisseur, the lover of rare materials and ultimate exhilaration. The scent's composition is a Parfums de Marly signature featuring sweet vanilla and tonka bean notes, with a sprinkling of spiced cinnamon. It enhances the skin it comes into contact with, taking the wearer on an unforgettable journey.
Top notes: Honey, Cinnamon, Osmanthus Heart notes: Amber, Labdanum, Benzoin Base notes: Vanilla, Tonka bean, Patchouli, Davana
Hermessence Quick Impressions
Dropped by Hermes last weekend to get a whiff of their store-exclusive Hermessence line
Rose Ikebana: Very fresh rose, with sappy cut stems and a facefull of fragrant pollen
Osmanthus Yunnan: Osmanthus, gets slightly peachy on drydown. Something reminiscent of oriental scents, but could not identify. Very faint
Iris Ukiyoe: Floral notes and... acetone
Vanille Galante: Very light vanilla, reminds me of a banana cream pie. Then all I got was banana. Very strange
Amber Narguile: Spices, vanilla and thick, sweet caramel-y amber. Like a lighter and more beautiful version of TF Tobacco Vanille
Vetiver Tonka: Vetiver, quite smoky. It was interesting.
Paprika Brasil: Spicy on top! Some milky woods beneath.
