❝   𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞’𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔.  ❞       it’s not all masks and greed. there’s a crawl of icy fingers down her spine, a rustling breeze against the 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍 of her neck. a high pitched giggle in her ear, glowing eyes that follow and claws that t̶a̶p̶ ̶,̶ ̶t̶a̶p̶ ̶,̶ ̶t̶a̶p̶. daphne EXHALES, smooths a wrinkle upon her skirt. a faint smile flutters across her lips.    ❝    𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 not to think about it too much, or else i feel like i’ll go absolutely bonkers.  ❞ 

❝    my  palms  itch  as   much  as  anyone  else,        miss  watson.    ❞         𝖏𝖎𝖓𝖝      pops  her  head  out  of  the  back  of  his  collar,     𝐣𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠     on  the  restaurant’s         𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚍𝚘𝚘𝚛  𝚝𝚊𝚋𝚕𝚎       to  get a  few  nips  at  the  remaining  quarter  of  her  caregiver’s  𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭     .        ❝   and  i  mean  that  in       BOTH     senses,    ❞  

              ❝ and what’d’ya make of it,  sleuth?   am i getting lucky?  or was it . . .   marriage?   i can’t remember,  now. ❞      she grins,  a classic expression of hers which spreads wildly across her features in a careless manner.  she’s always got an expression on that reeks of a woman who’d just won the lottery,  or you might guess as much.   but man,  a couple of bucks wouldn’t actually hurt right now.   but a husband she could do without.   she pulls her palm up and rubs at it instinctively before studying the lines.        ❝ i guess it sorta makes sense,  the whole thing with hands.  we use ‘em so much,  so i s’pose we’re inevitably gonna read into ‘em.  do you believe all the palm sciences? ❞
