Recently learned, through a family friend, that spinal surgeries are considered some of the most painful surgeries to ever have. (Learned because, six months ago, a family friend got diagnosed with scoliosis and got a spinal fusion... checks watch... a day and a half ago.) Which makes total sense and I just--
Caitlin having to perform surgery on Barry's spine after Zoom shatters his spine. Barry can heal perfectly fine but the issue is that Barry's body cannot push out foreign objects. His body is just growing new bone instead of using the shattered pieces that are already there, so it's all just becoming discard that cannot actually discard itself. So, Caitlin has to cut into Barry's spine to remove all of the bone pieces.
