The thing I love about Alucard in hellsing is that you can’t always tell if it’s because of his traumatic life and unlife that makes him crazy, or the fact that he’s like 5 or 600 years old. Obviously vampirism has to do with a lot of the violence he enjoys.. or does it? Because Seras kinda redefines the whole idea of vampirism being what causes violent behaviors. It’s shown that by the end he hates himself for becoming a monster, but he also shows that he doesn’t want anderson to give up his humanity, so much so, that Alucard actually breaks down. For the first time in who knows how long. So, is he incapable of empathy, or is he extremely out of touch with his emotions?
