An omnisexual person does not prefer one gender over others, however the act of them being attracted to men feels different then the act of being attracted to women. Or an omnisexual person finds certain traits attractive in one gender but finds difference traits attractive in a different gender. In these examples they do not prefer one gender over the other but gender is still a factor in there attraction. This is an example of omnisexuals who do not have a gender preference.

A pansexual who doesn't feel any internal difference between their attention to any genders. However, they prioritize their attraction to men. If they had to choose the gender of their partner, it would be a man. This is an example of a pansexual who had a gender preference.

Starting with Victor – we know he’s sort of naturally flirtatious and that he falls in love with Yuuri at the banquet almost instantly (imo) because of the way that Yuuri makes him feel that night.

So I totally agree with what you said!! I see him falling in love (romantic attraction) only with people who have a profound impact upon him, or who get to know him. However, he’s also naturally flirtatious (sexual attraction) and pretty open with everyone about that. Flirting just doesn’t reach a deeper level for him, you know? Unless it’s with certain people.

As for Victor being bi vs. gay, I’m not sure there’s much proof that supports either as we’ve seen so little about him! Pretty much the same thing with Yuuri, though of course we’ve seen a bit more about him. Maybe Victor is homoromantic and bisexual? Idk, just a thought~~

it’s just love. it feels ... complete. comfortable. i never got the sense that anything was missing, and i didn’t even know i needed this - to see characters experience love the same way i do, whether it was intentional on the creators’ part or not.

i didn’t know i needed it because i do enjoy cheesy romance. a lot. there’s something very satisfying about first kisses in particular. and i think it’s great that it’s left ambiguous whether their relationship acquires any physical component at the end, because that way it could be an aroace queerplatonic thing OR a romantic thing with kissing but no sex, and i like both of those! XD

Us last year: I understand now. I respect ppl's decision to use that label even though my autistic brain is still slightly uncomfortable with this apparent mixing of categories

like, i’m sure some people have perfectly innocuous reasons for using it and i won’t hate you if you conceptualise sexuality that way, but it’s come to a point where i’ve seen it used to devalue all aces so many times that i’ve developed an automatic aversion

plus i keep thinking about how often i was in some hospital or other and had to fill out a questionaire on which one of the questions was “would you be fine with never having sex (again) in your life” (paraphrased from memory) while i still identified as a sex-repulsed or apathetic grey-asexual

and i sat there trying to figure out which of the two possible answers was the one they would pathologise, because i had no idea what was normal??? “yes” = oh, they must be depressed? “no” = oh, they must have a type B personality disorder????? i still don’t know. all i could do was answer honestly.

none of the doctors in these places knew i was trans, none of them knew i was bi, but they forced me to come out as asexual by way of diagnostic questionaires ... so like, technically, i was perceived as a “cishet ace” in that moment

meanwhile, in one of those same hospitals, i made a friend who was actually straight and overheard someone making fun of him by calling him asexual, which was just the height of irony because i had a bit of a crush on him but didn’t act on it since i figured he’d want sex :) :) :)

and i was constantly encouraged to be more social, but literally every damn time i sat with other people in a group setting, they kept talking about sexual attraction until i felt like a weird alien and wanted to flee the room :) :) :) :) :)
