Tonight for dinner I decided on doing Oriental night, so while at the grocery store I picked up chicken balls, Chinese fried rice and gyoza dumplings to go along with the mixed vegetables and soya sauce at home. I let my parents know of the dinner plans, who then invited my brother to join us for dinner as well, so we had a full house tonight. After a few hands of cards we all sat down to eat, eventually collapsing into “food comas”. Overall, it was a fun and delicious night, and after a few more hands of cards finally we called it and drove my brother home for the evening. After tonight though I will definitely have to redeem myself in cards at the next family dinner I got decimated tonight, haha. Today’s random act of kindness: sharing a meal with family.
