Hey so I just had a serious panic attack over the fact that my very disabled mother and I have 3$ to our names because they took away my food stamps and hers are 31.00 and we’re almost out of food. We haven’t been able to go to the library to print out a re-application to try and get my food stamps back because we’ve been trying to beg for money on the streets (she has to be in a wheelchair for this) but it’s a lot of energy neither of us have because I am also very disabled but haven’t gotten on disability yet because of stuff exactly like this just keeps happening and we’ve both been out of some of our medication for a few days. If you want to know why they took my stamps away it’s because we missed the phone interview for the renewal and when we had them do it again they decided that we must not need it if we missed the first interview, instead of considering the fact that our only phone was a free government nokia cell phone (not any sort of smart phone, gets free minutes every month) we’ve had for years and desperately need to replace because it’s old and kinda broken.
