2. Are you a fan of any other sports?

Not really! I swam and danced competitively growing up so I'll watch those if they're in a show or reality tv game. I enjoy watching figure skating, roller hockey, gymnastics, horseback riding...if it's a more active sport (like basketball) you could get me to go to a game if it was free. And of course if it's women playing I am 90% more likely to engage (might even try to follow the WPBL. maybe. Baseball is just so slow for my brain). But ice hockey is the only sport I follow to any extent. I don't think I would honestly have the time to add another one and still have non-sports hobbies.

17. Have you started using any hockey slang in other contexts?

As in, in nonhockey playing/watching scenarios? Hmmm. Not to my knowledge but I'll have to ask my sister to confirm. I do regularly use hockey as a metaphor for larger life things which has resulted in my mother doing a lot of googling.

23. What is one overused question you wish you could make beat reporters stop asking?

Oh god. So many. @nosurprisetome had a great answer to this here that I agree with 100%. The leading questions are stupid and uninteresting. I also hate when they dig in to a player after a loss. The rambling long scenario groundwork as a ramp up to a leading question that asks a player who just lost to explain why they are upset is maybe the unholy triptych of beat reporter bullshit. It is hard to ask good questions, I will give them that, but it's not hard to avoid stupid ones. "Why did you celly" you will always be infamous to me
