Yeah, it’s odd that Allura insisted that Alfor form Voltron. She knew Zarkon was no longer the black paladin, as he was attacking the Castle of Lions right before Alfor put her to sleep. One of the only explanations is that in between Zarkon and Hagger ‘dying’ then starting a war, a new black paladin was found. And yeah, how was the bayard ‘lost’ with Zarkon? The season three episode seven story put a lot of plot holes in what had been established in previous seasons. I have many questions.
Right??? It’s so confusing!! Like even if we assume Allura spoke out of ignorance( which..sure Jan), Alfor (or rather his AI) tells her that they should have formed Voltron all along! So how????
New Black paladin is the only explanation I can think of!
