so i realized something real dumb the other day while i was thinkin about how physically strong Pucci’s Stands are
remember that part in SO where FF is trying to assassinate a dude in the back of an ambulance, and Pucci orders Whitesnake to stop her and get her discs, yeah? So FF, to avoid this, blasts herself out of her human body to escape, and climbs over the seats to get to the driver’s seat and drive away to find Jolyne. Pucci, once again, orders Whitesnake, who is still in the back of the ambulance, to pursue her:
Now, recall that Whitesnake can tear through objects like this ambulance with his bare hands; all he has to do is rip open that partition and reach through to get FF, and let’s not forget time is of the essence here, so he needs to act fast. So what does he do?
He does this. Instead of the easier, faster, and more fatal option, he does this instead, and follows it up by verbally questioning her instead of stealing her disc like Pucci wants. Here’s a handy-dandy diagram of events:
So this dumbass took the time to get out of the back of the ambulance, run around the entire ambulance, walks past the side doors which he could’ve also easily ripped off to get inside, and tears his way through the engine, probably the most inconvenient part to tear through. This tells us two things: 1- I’m right about Whitesnake trying to avoid killing FF in this scene, as there was no reason for him to do all this if he wanted to kill her, which he could have done easily, and 2: he’s a massive fucking drama queen, apparently.
thanks for coming to my ted talk
