Chapter 9 spoilers, so like if you haven't read it yet, get on that
I loved this bit so much, it was really great to see both Kanna and Chiyo step up to bat for Koharu, but I, and seemingly Chiyo as well, was taken aback by how angry Kanna gets.
From her introduction Kanna has been portrayed as conflict-adverse, making her militant defense of Koharu here a pronounced departure from that. Like look at their faces, both Koharu and Chiyo are surprised as hell. We see in previous chapters that Kanna is obviously very invested in koharu for *reasons* but there's very much a new facet of Kanna's character being showed here.
