Sheâs this, sheâs that. Drew was almost sure that he knew Tomâs wife perfectly from only hearing him talk about her. Never had he thought that his friend would find someone that would make him even consider the idea of marriage. It was a miracle, a happy miracle so it seemed by how big were the bartenderâs smiles and how he never seemed to stop laughing. But he had never met her, not face to face anyway, and the hope of finding someone that would make him as happy ignited within him. ONE DAY, someday.
It was a chilly night for autumn. It felt like lightening, igniting something inside him that had been dormant for a while. Drew believed in love at first sight but he had never been one to experience it, until that night. Heâd seen her only once around the bar, the woman with the bright smile, standing near the few tables close to the grand baby just listening to his music. One second she was there, the next she was gone. He didnât know if she had even seen him. Trying to find her again, he approached his friend â the cupid â, to ask him if he had seen her around, but alas life is funny sometimes.     â Hey Drew, I want you to meet someone. â Tom said grinning, pulling him along towards a brunette standing not far from them. Believing this would be another of his set ups, Drew followed only to find his mouth falling agape and speechless, it was her.
@manhattanopusâ , let the heartbreak begin lol.
