Where Ultra Magnu officially banishes our maintenance crew. Outraged by their situation, but too emotionally devastated and with their self-esteem nearly at rock bottom from being rejected by their own kind, they decide to travel to different parts of the galaxy.
Prowl goes to work at an ecological reserve where he learns about organic life.
Ratchet decides to look for work at a hospital for organics and mechanisms (where he learns organic medicine).
Bulkhead decides to attend an arts school while working part-time at Prowl's ecological reserve.
And Optimus decides to work part-time at a coffee shop while studying to become a police officer. At the same time, he takes Bumblebee under his care, who decides to pursue a more formal (and less military) education while working part-time as a delivery driver.
They're doing well, keeping in touch (and Optimus is one step away from filing official adoption papers), and are beginning to get used to their new lifestyle.
Then, one Tuesday morning, when Bumblebee had already left for college and Optimus was getting ready to leave, there was a knock on the door. Optimus opened it, and it turned out Megatron (of all the metches) was at his door. He looked tired, like he'd just run a marathon, but he had the look of just finding the greatest treasure on all of Cybertron...
