Information: This is the Bigger Bodies Initiative version of OptimisticKoala/Optik from Playtime Co., Experiment [REDACTED]. Back when Optik was human, she went by the name of [REDACTED] and was one of the orphan children from the factory. Not only that, but she's the one who thought up and designed all of the Rejected Critters, but as crayon drawings, which seemed to have impressed everyone, including the employees who she each gave a Rejected Critter that is actually based on them as 'they were the inspiration behind each of the Critters'. One day, [REDACTED] had woken up and suddenly found herself as a big version of her own Smiling Critter, OptimisticKoala.

Abilities: Optik is great at climbing stuff faster than other toys, and she can climb walls thanks to those sharp nails, which helps with not only tearing through obstacles, but they can also help her fight against hostile toys too. As for the cyan-colored gas she's exhaling out of her mouth, it's a special gas that, when breathed in, can instantly make anyone, including nearby hostile enemies, temporarily calm for a certain amount of time. It can even lessen the amount of the red gas when the two gases interact.

Reason for Rejection: Apparently, there's an unfortunate side effect to her gas. It seems that when someone, that also includes the toys too, has had constant prolonged exposure to the stuff, they eventually end up becoming addicted to being calm once the stuff wears off, which in turn makes them become anxious, wanting to be exposed to the gas again.

What Caused the Scars: In order to protect her friends from the Prototype and Catnap, Optik pretended to be loyal, in return that the Prototype and Catnap leaves her friends alone. The Prototype agreed to it, but as for Catnap, he didn't trust her. Once the two were alone and Optik's back was turned, he attacked her with his claws, leaving scratches in her back. Catnap had then threatened Optik, saying that he'll kill her and her friends if it turns out that she's actually a heretic, before leaving. Optik's wounds were later stitched up by one of her friends.

Personality: Optik's nice to others, as long as someone doesn't try to harm or threaten her friends, or else she'll tear them apart.

OptimisticKoala is hanging out with Baba Chops who is complaining about something, but the koala continued to pull her by the arm as she wanted the two of them to go hang out with all of their friends and have fun.

This is Toon OptimisticKoala, but she would rather be called either Ellie or Optik, whichever one's fine. She's the leader of a group of Toon Smiling Critters that were rejected by Playtime Co. and were never seen or heard of by the public, known as the 'Rejected Toon Critters'.

Optik was drawn and brought to life as part of an idea that the production crew had when they wanted the new episode of the Smiling Critters cartoon to be an homage to the black and white cartoons of the old days, and she was going to be introduced to the viewers as a new Smiling Critter. The who who drew the koala had an idea that her not having a neck or arms would make Optik look a bit more interesting to the audience.

Unfortunately, Playtime Co. had shut down production of the episode before they started creating the other characters, and had the show continue off with what they were originally doing. It seems that they had decided to scrap the idea rather than have their production team waste time designing black and white versions of the Smiling Critters that are just only going to be used for one episode. The koala ended up living/hiding out somewhere in a part of the factory where she made her own home where no one can find or disturb her, which later became a home for the entire group, but the koala does leave her home to visit the Toon Smiling Critters and the other rejected toons who didn't join her group, and obtain some supplies sometimes.

Optik loves to bring laughter and optimism to everyone in order to cheer them up. She can climb through the vents, and even knows the layout, thus she can get to where wherever she needs to be. The koala can also expel a blue gas that is similar to Catnap's illusion gas as whoever breathes it in will temporarily see the world and everything in it as a cartoon, including their own reflection as well.

While toons are somewhat unaffected by the gas, it's unknown what would happen to a non-toon if they were exposed to too much of it over constant, long periods of time. Bubba theorized that the individual would be stuck seeing the world as a cartoon for the rest of their lives, so Optik avoids something like that from happening by preventing others from having constant exposure to it.

In the second drawing, Optik is giving Yadgod a present as a birthday gift for the day he was created. I wonder what she gave him for his birthday?

DogDay x Optik x Bobby. I call it the "Positive Trio" pairing, seeing as how the three of them help lift people's spirits up whenever someone is feeling down.

This is the AfterJoy AU version of OptimisticKoala. Optik is wearing a black goth outfit, while the blue one in the other drawing is a different colored version. In her universe, Optik had died after [ERROR; DATA NOT FOUND] and found herself there.

In both drawings, with the koala are her Soul Minis: Misti (top), Dove (left), Rae (bottom left), Joye (middle), and Clove (right), who are all wearing their own star goggles. Optik can easily tell them apart thanks to the stickers she had placed on the back of each of their goggles' straps. Also, even without the googles, she can tell them apart by their personalities or habits.

Misti (Shooting Star): Likes to climb up on top of things, but if too high up to even climb back down, ends up scared and calls for Optik's help. Dove (Cloud): Stares off into space sometimes, and will playfully attack whoever was the one that snapped them out of it. Rae (named after Optik's friend, Greta; Flower): Guides the other Minis in order to keep them out of trouble. Joye (Sun): A positive, ball of sunshine. Anise (Dog): Mischievous, and likes to mess with Rae. Also, likes the smell of Star Anise.

The one standing next to OptimisticKoala is the Swap AU version of her that has had their color scheme and role swapped with Picky Piggy, "Kopizza". They love to bake and give away pizza to others who are feeling down in order to cheer them up, and sometimes they do it just to be nice. Unlike Optik, Kopizza can't breathe out any gas, but they are strong and even know some combat thanks to their parents' training and teaching them how to fight. Their scent is a Red Bell Pepper.

Everyone in the Rejected Critters also have had their color scheme and roles swapped with another Critter or each other. Also, Kopizza isn't the leader of the group, but instead, that position belongs to the swap version of one of their friends, Mysticaw (Greta swapped with Fleur Foxcase).
