Currently pirating ultrakill in the vm
Already off to a really great start
Going to try and run ultrakill in a vm so I can install viruses and start a new game to see if I can get to Minos before the vm dies

Just played through the violence layer for the first time and idk how I feel about the Minotaur being a House of Leaves reference, like it’s cool but the whole thing was that the Minotaur was ambiguous to whether it was real or not, and I feel like putting it into this tangible fightable being diminishes its power.
I think 7-1 should have rearranged itself as you moved through it, as you get closer to the end the walls and floor themselves become hostile towards you, the end being a desperate race to the elevator as the walls close in to crush you and the floor tries to drag you back to a bottomless pit (calling back to the scene in House of Leaves where Tom dies). Roars can be heard throughout the level in the distance, a shadow moves just in the corner of your eye, you move through a new room and gore already litters the ground.
